Dylan had so much fun at his third birthday party over the weekend! We had so many family & friends come to help him celebrate! He is a lucky boy! We have sooo many pictures of the party :) To see more pics click "Read More"
Jenie hosted a baby sprinkle for baby girl Kunde and it was so much fun!! We loved seeing everyone (it is always great to get everyone together) and we got some amazing gifts from our friends!! :)
We are trying to start a new tradition where we all together sometime around Christmas and wear pajamas and hang out! This year Shaina & Joe hosted and it was a lot of fun! It is crazy how much has changed since we were all in college!
We have had a bunch of awesome visits to Bloomington this month! We LOVED getting together with all of my friends at a pumpkin patch to see everyone and all the kids. They had a blast! :)
We threw Jenie a baby shower for her soon to be baby girl Adelynn! It was great seeing everyone! We can't wait for baby girl to get here!!
I had an amazing birthday weekend! We started out with the Run for Gus in the city! Shelly and I ran together the whole time and Genna, Uncle Donny, Dylan and a ton of my friends were there too! Then we had a sleepover at Shelly's apartment and rode around on the brown line in the morning - Dylan LOVED it! Then Dylan went back home with Uncle Donny for a sleepover and Shelly and I spent the day together just hanging out. At night we headed over to the Lincoln Park Zoo for drinks and fun! We went out after it was over and then Drew and I drove home after midnight! :) The next day we had a fun party at our house for my real birthday - we did some slip and slide and cooked out! :)
Some fun stuff from the end of May! Fishing with Uncle Donny's class, going to the zoo and visiting Jenie and finding out she is having a baby girl!!!
We hosted small get together for NYE and got a little crazy! Dylan is learning beer pong at a young age :) On December 14th I did the Rudolph Ramble 8k in Chicago (that's about 5 miles). I ran it with Eric, Jenie & Brock (Sammi was our cheerleader and photographer - thanks Sammi)! It was fun, I had a great race!
Halloween was fun this year! We had some people over to greet the trick-or-treaters, drink and be merry :) Dylan really loved answering the door and handing out candy. Guess what he didn't like - HIS COSTUME! I don't think we got a single good picture of him in it! Oh well....maybe next year!!
This year was the second year that we did the Breast Cancer 5k in Woodstock and WOW what a difference a year makes! Last year I walked the 5k and this year I ran it with Amy in 24:14, a new personal best for me! I got third place in my age group :) Dylan got to walk the whole 5k with Laura (thanks Laura!) and Jenie & Brock also came to run it! Can't wait to do it again next year!!
On Saturday, September 27th Jenie & I ran the Women Rock Half Marathon in Chicago. It was a lot of fun and I got a new personal record for my half marathon time. :) I had a lot of great fans cheering me on!!
We had fun visiting Bloomington two weeks in a row! This past weekend I ran a 5k with Jenie & Brock in Emden for ALS and we had a great time after :)
It was a crazy fun weekend! Friday during the day we had fun playing with Kate & Laura. Then Friday night Jenie & Brock and the dogs came to visit. We all ran the Woodstock Challenge 10K in the morning and got to swim at the Woodstock pool after it was over. Dylan loved the pool!! Then Grandpa & Grandma Kunde came for a visit - we had a picnic, played in the park and had a little cookout! :) On Sunday we went to Bdubs and then partied at Grandma & Grandpa Hempen's house!
Yesterday we had Dylan's first birthday party at our new house! It was a perfect day to play and have fun with family and friends. Thank you so much to everyone that came! He had an amazing day - he is very blessed! Sorry for so many pictures :)
Dylan went to get his helmet on Monday, Dec 16th. He had a lot of fun at the doctor's office. Since we were way over on the South side we stopped by Jenie & Brock's for some pizza afterwards. Dylan got a Christmas present from them - a toy that will teach him how to be bilingual! Haha :)
