Dylan is so talkative lately...he's saying "dada" a lot, but I don't think he knows what it means yet :)

Christmas day we wake up and open presents from Santa and from our family. Then we eat an awesome breakfast prepared by my Dad. Then it's off to the Farm to celebrate again and eat a lovely feast made by Top Chef Don Perkins :)
Christmas Eve is my favorite night of the whole year. We dress up, go to church, take a zillion pics, eat some food, open presents, drink and play games. It is my favorite family tradition - all done at the Farm :) Dylan got a ton of awesome presents! We also had some fun doing rumchata shots out of weird glasses (no shot glasses around) and sliding down the stairs in our new matching jammies :)
We took Dylan to see Santa for the first time. It was freeezing out so Kate & I waited in line and Drew & Dyl waited in the van. When we finally got to Santa it went pretty well - although Dylan did puke in Santa's beard....I don't think anyone noticed :)
We have officially moved in with my parents in Crystal Lake until our house is ready for us to move in. We are looking forward to being around everyone - especially for the holidays. Dylan was enjoying a few cold ones his first night at the new house :)
Friday, December 20th was the last day of school for me until January 6th - thank goodness. It has been a lonnnng semester! Dylan came to visit me at school and meet some of my students - he did a great job! I love having him at school with me!
Dylan went to get his helmet on Monday, Dec 16th. He had a lot of fun at the doctor's office. Since we were way over on the South side we stopped by Jenie & Brock's for some pizza afterwards. Dylan got a Christmas present from them - a toy that will teach him how to be bilingual! Haha :)
Naps on Saturdays are awesome! Too bad we didn't have any bedding because Dyl puked all over it...typical.
Dylan got a really cool Christmas present from Laura - a dog that talks! :) The pups were a little freaked out by it...
We were hanging out at the Farm tonight and Dylan was doing a great job sitting up all by himself! He has kinda been doing it the past few days but this was amazing! I think he is officially a sitter! So proud :) Dylan was caught cuddling with BOTH of his puppies over the weekend. I kept trying to get a video of it and this is the best I could do! We found an old stroller in the basement at the Farm - it was Dylan's great great great great grandpa's!
Dylan is getting a little too big for his bathtub (he is just too long for it) so we decided to try an inflatable duck tub! It was pretty funny, he tried it for the first time in Bloomington. I think it was a hit, it'll be even better when he can sit up in it all by himself! We had a great time visiting Bloomington for our second Thanksgiving! Dylan got a new bathtub, a blow up duck!
