We spent the day playing at the Silker pond - Dylan had a blast!! We played in the sand, did some frog catching, floated in the pond, rode Aunt Deb's tractor & had a picnic lunch!
We had such a fun Father's Day Weekend! Friday we went to see Grandpa Hempen's softball team play in Wisconsin - it was Elliott's first time at a softball game! Then on Saturday we went down to Bloomington to surprise Grandpa Kunde! We did some swimming at the neighborhood pool - Dylan did great! Then on Sunday we were able to go visit Great-Grandpa Kunde and hangout at his house! So much fun!
Dylan had his first weekend by himself in Bloomington and he did great! He got to sleep at Grandma and Grandpa's house for two nights on the cot in their room! He went to a bonfire, the zoo, a playground, church, and hung out with everyone down there to celebrate Uncle John's birthday!! Thanks Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Jana, Aunt Jami and Uncle John for a great weekend! Great success for his first trip without Mom and Dad!
We had a great long weekend! We were able to go to Bloomington for the weekend and make it to the Woodstock parade too! :)
Today was Dylan's last day of school at Thunderbird! They had a fun picnic that family was invited to come to. It was fun to see him at school! I can't believe the year is already over and he will be coming to school with me next year! We are so proud of him for learning how to go to school all by himself this year in Super Tots!
We drove into the city to visit Shelly & Ryan and went to the Lincoln Park Zoo! It was Elliott's first time :)
Dylan had so much fun at his third birthday party over the weekend! We had so many family & friends come to help him celebrate! He is a lucky boy! We have sooo many pictures of the party :) To see more pics click "Read More"
Happy 28th Birthday to Drew!! Drew, Dylan & I went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate and then had a little celebration at my parents house!
We had such a fun day celebrating Dylan's third birthday!! We went to Panera for breakfast, played at a park in the afternoon and went to his favorite restaurant for dinner! I can't believe he's already three years old!! :)
I got to go to school with Dylan for a Mother's Day celebration and it was so cute! We did 3 different crafts - painted, planted a flower in a pot that he had already painted & made a necklace. Then we got to eat snack, listen to a story and sing a few songs. It was adorable! 😀
Dylan had some homework to draw his favorite animal (he picked an elephant)! He also wanted to write his name on the back!
This weekend we had Elliott baptized at the Saturday night service. We had dinner at our house before and then cake & drinks after! It was a great celebration with family!
Grandma and Grandpa Hempen surprised us with a Swingset for our backyard for Dylan's birthday present! Grandpa spent the week putting it together through some pretty dramatic weather (hot some days, cold some days, rainy some days). Dylan had so much fun helping him! :) Now we have an awesome swing set for Dyl to play with! He is beyond excited!
