Yesterday we had Dylan's first birthday party at our new house! It was a perfect day to play and have fun with family and friends. Thank you so much to everyone that came! He had an amazing day - he is very blessed! Sorry for so many pictures :)

The Hawks have been doing great in the playoffs and Dylan loves cheering for them! (Unless it's too late at night -ugh). Here's a fun video. We had a really fun and busy first weekend in May. Friday night we had an event at my school, watched Sammi get ready for Prom and went out to dinner at the new steakhouse in Crystal Lake. Mmmmm!
Saturday we had a puppy date with Gravy, played outside, saw Justin & Danielle, went to church & Joe's and stopped by Menard's (Dylan's favorite store)! The weather was crazy this weekend (rain, sun, hot, cold, hail, ect) but we really enjoyed the warm part of Saturday! It got up to 75 & we were able to play outside without a sweatshirt or shoes! :) Dylan really loved walking around the patio and the backyard while the puppies were having a play date with Gravy.
We officially closed on our new house on Wednesday, March 19th! We can't wait to move in this weekend! :)
We had a fun lazy Sunday today.... this is our last weekend living at the Hempen house before we move into our new house. We can't wait!
This is a throw back to January 13, 2013 when we had our Gender Reveal Party for everyone to find out we were having a baby boy! Here were everyone's guesses....boy or girl! Who was right, who was wrong?? Click "read more" below to see more pictures of the party!
We spent the weekend after Christmas in Bloomington celebrating again! Drew was lucky enough to get two days off after New Years as well so we went down again a few days later!
We have a very divided family when it comes to football! Up here we love the Bears but the Bloomington Kundes like the Packers (ew). For Christmas the dogs got some cute apparel for the game. - The Bears lost :( But it was a close one!
Christmas day we wake up and open presents from Santa and from our family. Then we eat an awesome breakfast prepared by my Dad. Then it's off to the Farm to celebrate again and eat a lovely feast made by Top Chef Don Perkins :)
Naps on Saturdays are awesome! Too bad we didn't have any bedding because Dyl puked all over it...typical.
Dylan was caught cuddling with BOTH of his puppies over the weekend. I kept trying to get a video of it and this is the best I could do! We had a great time visiting Bloomington for our second Thanksgiving! Dylan got a new bathtub, a blow up duck!
We had a party on November 9th for Dylan's 1/2 birthday! Grandma and Grandpa Kunde came to visit for it! Aunt Genna also flew in from Minnesota :) Other than that it was the usual gang, Me, Drew, Grandma & Grandpa, Sammi, Shelly, Gail, Don O, Gruncle Donny, Papa, Susie, Sherri & Laura.
We had a bonfire (thanks to Grandpa Kunde) and lots of fun! This first half year flew by waaay too fast! |
