Elliott is already four weeks old!!! She is starting to be awake more and more often during the day and is getting better at sleeping at night! :)

Dylan had some homework to draw his favorite animal (he picked an elephant)! He also wanted to write his name on the back!
This weekend we had Elliott baptized at the Saturday night service. We had dinner at our house before and then cake & drinks after! It was a great celebration with family!
Grandma and Grandpa Hempen surprised us with a Swingset for our backyard for Dylan's birthday present! Grandpa spent the week putting it together through some pretty dramatic weather (hot some days, cold some days, rainy some days). Dylan had so much fun helping him! :) Now we have an awesome swing set for Dyl to play with! He is beyond excited!
We had a little scare last week - on Friday Dylan was dancing to Humpty Dumpty in the kitchen with Genna and I and fell down on his leg! He refused to put weight on it all weekend and was crawling around :( We took him to immediate care Friday night for x-rays but they couldn't see anything since his bones aren't all formed yet. He saw Dr Hire and was obsessed with him & loved being at the doc! Monday we took him to an orthopedic doctor to try to figure out what to do with him since he still wasn't putting weight on it. They said we could cast it now or give it one more week to see if it heals - we decided to wait one more week! I didn't want him to have a cast if he didn't need one! Starting Wednesday he put weight on it and now he is limping around but walking fine! :)
Dylan had a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa Hempen to give us a night with only one sleep distraction (thank you!) and he got to sleep on a "big boy bed" there! :) So cute!
I can't believe Elliott is already three weeks old!! Ahhh! She is such a joy! She is currently (just today) moving to size 1 diapers instead of newborn! I stepped on the scale with and without her and it seems like she is almost ten pounds!! She loves eating (both bottles & boobs) and doesn't love sleeping at night! She loves tummy time (she often likes to nap on her belly) and loves to squirt pee and poop all over when her diaper is being changed! :) We just can't get enough of her!! A few more pics below....
Elliott had her two week appointment today & did great! She is 22.25 inches long & 9 lbs 3 oz! Her umbilical cord belly button stub fell off when they were weighing her and I was so excited to see her cute little belly button! The doctor said she is doing great and very active :) We are so proud of our little Ellie!! I also took a million more pics.... :)
Grandma & Grandpa Kunde came to visit Elliott again & Jana & John came to meet her! We had a fun day playing and working outside - it was a beautiful day! We are so glad they could come visit!
Ellie had her first visit to the Farm today! Dylan had a blast (as always) & Ellie had fun hanging out inside with Papa!
We gave Elliott her first bath at home today and she liked it! She didn't cry at all and it was fun to see her wake up and open her eyes! :) Then we took a little outing to pick up some things from Buy Buy Baby (Elliott's first store trip) and grabbed some lunch at Noodles! She slept the whole time! Dylan is getting so good at drawing, here is a picture he drew (with a little help from Grandma).
Dylan finally got to meet Elliott when we got home from the hospital (flu restrictions at the hospital wouldn't let him visit). He was SO excited to see her! Didn't want to touch her at all, but was very interested in looking at her and loved her bow! :)
Heading home from the hospital! It was a LONG ride on all the Bull Valley roads but we made it! :) The dogs were very excited to meet her when we got home!
We spent both Wednesday and Thursday night in the hospital! :) Here are some pictures from our stay! :)
